Meet the Founder

The heart behind Seasons

Hi, I’m Priya

A Foundation in Planning & Design

Driven by my passion for Indian weddings, in 2024 I pursued an intensive programme in Wedding Planning and Event Management with Bouquet de Liz, one of Portugal’s most established wedding houses, with over 25 years of experience.

This training gave me a strong foundation in both the art and discipline of event planning—from creating visually cohesive and aesthetically refined celebrations to managing budgets, protecting timelines and carefully selecting suppliers so that nothing is left to chance. It also built on the instincts and skills I had already developed throughout my previous corporate career.

Experience Behind the Scenes

Over the past two years, I have had the opportunity to work alongside some of Portugal’s leading wedding-planning teams.

Being closely involved in their celebrations has allowed me to gain invaluable hands-on experience, understand what truly happens behind the scenes and learn how to find thoughtful solutions to challenges—often before they arise.

A Lived Understanding of Indian Weddings

As a Gujarati Hindu born and raised in Portugal, I grew up surrounded by Indian traditions while also developing a deep connection to the country I call home.

Indian weddings have always been part of my world—their traditions, emotions and deep sense of togetherness. I understand the significance of both the smallest rituals and the largest ceremonies, the complexities of family dynamics, the importance of welcoming and caring for every guest, and the many details that must come together across several days of celebration.

The Beginning of Seasons

This combination of professional experience, cultural understanding and a genuine passion for Indian weddings is what led me to create Seasons.

Today, I bring together thoughtful planning, cultural awareness, aesthetic sensibility and a meticulous eye for detail to curate celebrations that feel personal, meaningful and true to each couple.

My Approach

I believe wedding planning is about far more than organising a beautiful event. It begins with understanding the people at the heart of it—their story, their families and the emotions they want to share with those they love—and transforming that into an experience they will carry with them long after the celebration is over.
